How to sign up for the Overwatch 2 closed beta: Blizzard has closed registration for the next Overwatch 2 closed beta. While the game is set to launch on October 4th, you don’t actually have to wait until October to see the PvP experience. The closed beta test will include new heroes, game modes, as well as returning characters from the original Overwatch. Data collected during the Overwatch 2 closed beta will help Blizzard identify bugs and collect player feedback to improve the game. If you want to try out Overwatch 2 before it launches, here’s how you can sign up for the Overwatch 2 Closed Beta:

Registrations will be open until June 28th, unless Blizzard hits maximum server capacity sooner. The developer is hoping to provide beta access to all players by July 14th. Players who have been selected for the Overwatch 2 Beta will receive an invite via email.
Players who have purchased the Overwatch 2: Watchpoints Pack will receive immediate beta access when it goes live. Players can also purchase the Watchpoint Pack to gain immediate access once the beta begins.
Overwatch 2 Beta Date, Time
The Overwatch 2 Closed Beta will begin on June 28th at 1:30PM ET. The developer will continually offer access to a growing number of players with the first major wave starting on July 5th. The developer aims to offer beta access to all players by July 14th, if all goes well. It’s unclear how long Blizzard plans to run the next Overwatch 2 closed beta.
Overwatch 2 beta map mods heroes
The Overwatch 2 beta will feature a new map as well as a new hero, Junker Queen. Junker Queen plays the role of a tank and is specially designed for 5-player teams. The Junker Queen wields a throwing knife that is attached to a chain, which can damage enemies and pull them towards her. In addition to these, players can access existing Overwatch heroes in beta. The beta will only provide access to Overwatch 2 PvP, which will be free to play when the game launches on October 4th. The PvE element of Overwatch 2 is expected to launch sometime in 2023.
